McCanners of New York | 12th Edition
Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce you to one of McCann's most handsomely sarcastic producers, Ryan. Talk to me after the interview if you disagree.
How long have you been at McCann?
17 months (I sound like a new mother. My child's in the gifted program. I don't have a child. This interview is starting strong.)
What do you enjoy most when you’re not working?
Sleeping. It's just the best.
What advice would you tell your 17 year old self?
Write a song called "Shake It Off" and wait for the millions to roll in. Here I'll give you the first line, "I stay out too late!" GO!
What are you currently obsessed with?
Avocado… nom nom nom nom nom so good.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Nominated for an Oscar. So make your mark now so I can include you in my acceptance speech…
What would be your last meal?
A killer cheeseburger, fries and a pumpkin pie blizzard from Dairy Queen… #america
What is your greatest fear?
Which talent would you most like to have?
Be good enough at something so I could go to the Olympics. Anything. Heck I'd even take curling. Wait no it's gotta be cooler than that. Skeleton. Or something a little more lucrative. What about Tennis? Regardless, then I could get an Olympic rings tattoo legitimately and always use it when playing 2 truths and a lie. Consistent conversation starter. #winning
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
What do you most value in your friends?
Who is your favorite hero in fiction?
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy.
Who are your heroes in real life?
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy… They're real right?
What is your motto?
Shut up and look pretty. (I actually have this framed on my desk #truelife)
Where are you most likely to splurge?
Any store where I can buy Army pants and flip flops (I once saw Cady Heron wearing them soooo…)
If you could live at any point in history what point would that be - and why
Whatever time the Lion King takes place. And I'd be Timon. That was a documentary right?
What is a piece of information people would be surprised to hear about you
Your worst habit
One thing you have always wanted to do and have not yet done
Been a cast member on SNL. Just waiting for that call. Your move Lorne.
Best piece of advice someone has given you
"You can be fashionable but you don't have to be a hooker!" direct quote from my mother. Good.
Who is the most glamorous person you have ever met
One time I think I saw Suri Cruise… now THAT is glamour.
Pick two celebrities to be your parents.
No thank you. I'll keep the power couple that I was born to. Team Jan and Dan all day.
Favorite Instagram account you think everyone should follow.
@unspirational… helps keep things in perspective.
If you could have drinks with 3 people dead or alive, who would it be?
Ferris Bueller (for the shenanigans that would ensue), Teddy Roosevelt (also for shenanigans) and the left shark from the Super Bowl.
Favorite Restaurant in NYC?
It's this really chic little spot down in the lower east side that probably no one has ever heard of. It is called Chipotle.
Name one song that would be on the soundtrack to your life?
Does my mom leaving me short and aggressive voicemails count? Because those are always hilarious and unintentionally startling at the same time.
First celebrity crush?
The pink Power Ranger.
The pink Power Ranger.
What has been your favorite vacation place?
My Grandmothers tiny in-ground pool has been a hot spot for Fitzsimons family members for generations and is pretty stellar any given day from June to September. We call it the Fitzsimons Country Club. The Costco hot dogs and popsicles are the definition of luxury.
If you could have any super power, what would it be?
Flight. Imagine?! I could have a little flight doggie door right out the window by my desk. NO ELEVATOR LINES FOR THIS GUY! Guys let's do some research and make this happen! Kthanksbye.
