Trivia Night: Thinking & Drinking
Last night’s Trivia Night brought to you by Truth Well Brewed in conjunction with the launch of Truth Central’s newest study: The Truth About Global Brands was a hit. Nadia Tuma of Truth Central kicked off the evening by guiding McCanners in attendance through some of the study’s highlights. Truth Central surveyed 30,000 people across 29 markets in the world and found some interesting results. The three macro forces of demographic changes, shifts in demographics and technological have given rise to a generation of global citizens who are “strongly rooted in their identity, but flow freely between countries” and are the world’s “best houseguests.” Truth Central closed with a question: What if global brands acted like the world’s best houseguests? Chris Macdonald was the captivating emcee for the duration of the evening, peppering the event with his jokes & insights and keeping the energy level high. The 15 participating teams were treated to an in-house bar trivia experience complete with bar snacks and pitchers served table-side.
Event Highlight: A grunting, foot-stomping rendition of the Maori Haka chant performed by the All Blacks of New Zealand at rugby matches brought to us by our own Julien Delatte and James Stevens.
