McCanners of New York | 19th Edition
How long have you been at McCann?
What do you enjoy most when you’re not working?
What is your go to karaoke song?
Karaoke makes me sweat. I’ve only done it once when I lived in Hanoi – it was an Abba song. I was locked in a Karaoke room with 20 Vietnamese dudes and lots of rice wine. They take Karaoke VERY seriously. On the other hand I love watching other people do Karaoke.

What was the last book you read?
Le Petit Prince
What advice would you tell your 17 year old self?
The braces will pay off.
What are you currently obsessed with?
The Container Store – I live in a studio.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
A 1 bedroom
What would be your last meal?
What is your greatest fear?
Karaoke – see above.
Which living person do you most admire?
Which talent would you most like to have?
I have always been envious of people who have lucid dreams - I would love to be able to be cognizant of my dreaming and get the most out of it.
What do you most value in your friends?
Wit and telling me what I don’t want to hear.
What is your motto?
They did not know it was impossible, so they did it.
Where are you most likely to splurge?
If you could live at any point in history what point would that be - and why
One of my favorite pictures is a group of people staring in awe the first time they saw a TV turn on when it was still new technology. I would love to travel back and see people's visceral reactions to the first train or plane or electric light.
What is a piece of information people would be surprised to hear about you
I once ate the still beating heart of a snake.
Your worst habit
I'm a knuckle cracker.
One thing you have always wanted to do and have not yet done
Skydiving tied with bungee jumping
Best piece of advice someone has given you
It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
Pick two celebrities to be your parents.
Nah, I’m all set.

RuPaul, Napoleon and the Dalai Lama
Favorite Restaurant in NYC?
Name one song that would be on the soundtrack to your life?
Aesop Rock – No Regrets
First celebrity crush?
If you could have any super power, what would it be?
I was a huge fan of Heroes. It’s a tie – either the ability to read and retain all information – like speaking Japanese because I read a book on it or to learn any movement by seeing it once – think black belt in Karate brought to you by YouTube.
