Inside Inspo Vol 3. with Jac & Morgan
Hey! We’re back with some Music Inspo.
We work in an open office space so some days are rougher than others. Like when your coworker’s on a JBeibs kick and decides to play his earliest, most falsetto hits at top volume with no headphones. So for this month’s Inside Inspo, we asked people for their favorite tunes to tune out the office noise pollution.
Some of our Office DJs gave us a peek into their headphones. Take a listen to their playlists to break up your go-to jams.
First off, we’ve got our very own Kendra Gaines (Jr AD)– an office superstar in her own right.
D.R.A.M. & Drake both make appearances on the Ken’s Listens playlist if you want to get tea candle lit while you’re working. Overall, it’s a solid working playlist & she threw a little gospel in there if you need to get in a quick prayer to make your deadline.
Sanay Lemus (Jr AD) probably has one of the most varied playlists. On Werk, she starts you off with some Spanish music – to get you pen tooling or typing away – and then she moves on to classic rock, hip hop etc. She covers almost every genre, so you never drop into a musical rut. It might be our new solution for one of those rough days.
Alexandre Nguyen (Sr. Strategist) went above and beyond with 2 – that’s right, 2 – playlists. He uses the first, Write, to do just that – write. All the songs have a different tone and evoke a new emotion, so it’s easy to “change gears and explore more directions.” The second, Rewrite, is all grand instrumentals, mostly from film scores. “Almost every song on this playlist can be tracked back to Hans Zimmer in mood and instrumentation.” Essentially, this guy knows his music, and the more epic when doing a rewrite or building a deck the better.
Jac’s Playlist: Lush Vibes (A Spotify Original)
Morgan’s Playlist: Background Jams (All my faves for getting through the day)
Go forth and get inspired!
