Wellness Month Wraps Up at McCann
All April long, McCanners had their work days punctuated with opportunities to learn about wellness and a better work-life balance. We kicked off the month with a mini-gym at our office café; welcomed Equinox trainers for some low-impact training tips; and signed up more than 130 McCanners for a six-week Equinox Pro-Fit Challenge.
The next week, we brought in medical professionals associated with our employee health plans to talk to employees. We had allergists, nutritionists and other specialists on-site to help with questions about plans or health issues -- without having to schedule an appointment.
We also offered meditation sessions, nutrition coaching and invited SoulCycle to present in our monthly "Good Morning McCann” session. Every Friday featured fruit in kitchens on all our floors and there were health tips posted on the walls around the office.
Wellness Month concluded with a very special happy hour at our offices hosted by HR that featured “skinny” drinks, healthy snacks and useful tips to keep in mind whenever you indulge in a cocktail.
We’re feeling healthier already.
