Those to watch-

Who said that hip-hop is dead? These young cats are bringing the flavor back into hip hop. Check out my list of “those to watch”:

1. Amine - these young cats remind us a lot of Pharcyde. Catchy lyrics over dope beats and exciting energy. They are very organic and talented. Their hit single “Caroline” is climbing the charts.

2. Kamaiyah - this young lady is HOT just because she stood out from the crowd. Her hit “Out of the Bottle” sounded so damn different from anything we heard coming out of hip-hop. She hails from the Bay area.

3. Lil Uzi Vert - this young man hails from the Philly area. His album “Luv Is Rage” has a lot of the post Young Thug flow but he has a lot more of personality than all the copycats out there. He is open-minded and that is what separates him from his peers. Check out his tracks, “Super Saiyan” and “Safe House”.

4. PNL – this is my strange pick because these dudes Hail from France. Personally, we love listening to music outside of the United States especially when it comes to hip-hop. This group dominated the French rap world but outside of France they are still off the radar. It’s a shame because they are really on point. Check out their two full lengths- Le Monde Chico and Que Le Famille.

Until next month- peace out!
