McCann NY Represents at Creative Week
McCann NY had a stellar showing during Creative Week in NYC. Between the panels, summits, award shows and cocktail hours, we brought home many of the top awards of the week from some of the most competitive awards in the industry. On Monday night, our creative teams attended The Art Directors Club 96th Annual Awards gala where McCann NY won
Agency of the Year AND Digital Agency of the Year -- and McCann Worldgroup was named Network of the Year. Our "Field Trip to Mars" campaign for Lockheed Martin was awarded the Black Cube in Digital, and Lockheed Martin was awarded Client of the Year. We were also recognized for our work for U.S. Army, The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, Girls Who Code and Godiva. It was an amazing night.
On Thursday, Christine Lane, Executive Producer - Innovation, delivered a presentation at the One Show Creative Summit about her challenging job bringing out-of-the-box, experiential creative ideas to life. Christine has been heavily involved in successful campaigns like the USPS Ornament, Fearless Girl and the upcoming “Protect Like a Mother” exhibition for Lysol. For her One Show presentation, Christine presented a case study on Fearles Girl, which quickly became an international symbol of female leadership since we dropped it on Wall Street on the eve of International Women’s Day back in February. Christine gave the eager crowd some behind-the-scenes details about how the girl was brought to life, starting with mood boards through various iterations using various materials to finally, a bronze statue standing strong as a new symbol of the strength.
Finally, the week ended with the One Show Awards gala where McCann NY was named Agency of the Year with 19 awards, 18 of which are gold! The One Show Agency of the Year is a huge honor and we couldn’t be more proud. All in all, an amazing week for the creative community and an incredibly gratifying week for McCanners.
