Christine Lane, SVP Executive Producer – Innovation, answered six questions in SHOOT’s 2018 Mid-Year Report Card. Christine discussed what trends have made 2018 significant so far, what work stood out to her and where she thinks creative and strategic trends are moving in the second half of 2018. She also identifies which new technology she may be investing in for the agency and how she and the agency are working to increase diversity and inclusion for filmmakers.
- It’s inspiring to see more purpose and authenticity in work and for these campaigns to be celebrated beyond the context of cause marketing. I expect living and communicating a brand’s values in every piece of work will become the norm rather than the one-off and content that documents what a brand is doing will be on the rise.
- I think the mediums we use to engage audiences will continue to grow and I’m thrilled to be someone who gets to figure out how to do this.
- The best talent will reach and grow if you give them the space and let them know you’re there to support them along the way.
