McCann hosts @AAFNational‘s Most Promising Program
On February 13, McCann hosted 50 industry-selected multicultural undergraduate college seniors as a part of the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) Most Promising Multicultural Students Program. Representing 33 colleges and universities, including Brigham Young, University of Houston, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and the Ringling College of Art & Design and University of Illinois, the group enjoyed a panel discussion about the work the agency and the McCann Worldgroup network produces for Verizon. A robust questions and answer session followed.
Panelists included McCann’s own Liz Der, Jordan Hamilton and Holly Hessler, plus Pingyi Lee Noto from MRM, Marc Charles from Momentum and Ron Gaulden from EP+Co.
As a sponsor of Most Promising, McCann staff also attended the AAF Building Bridges for Our Future luncheon, where all 50 students were recognized for their accomplishments in the classroom and alumni of the program who are making animpact in our industry were recognized. Most Promising, established in 1997, has over 1,000 alumni across the industry, and the group is paving the way for increased diversity and inclusion in the advertising, media, marketing and PR industries.
